About the position

The Data Conversion Analyst role focuses on programming and supporting data conversion processes, specifically transitioning data from ADABAS to SQL Server. The position requires extensive experience in Natural/ADABAS development and SQL Server, along with a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. The analyst will be responsible for validating converted data and ensuring the integrity of the conversion processes.

Responsibilities

• Program in a Natural/ADABAS development environment.
• Design, develop, debug, and support complex data conversion processes using SQL Server.
• Validate data converted from ADABAS to SQL Server.
• Analyze business processes and prepare business use cases.
• Engage in logical data modeling and design reports.

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience programming in a Natural/ADABAS development environment.
• At least five (5) years of experience designing, developing, debugging, and supporting complex data conversion processes using SQL Server.
• At least three (3) years of experience validating data converted from ADABAS to SQL Server.
• At least five (5) years of experience with SDLC methodologies, including requirements elicitation and analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with a Natural Construct technical environment.
• Experience with the conversion of data from ADABAS to SQL Server.
• Experience with Job Control Language (JCL).
