About the position

The Data Coordinator at Midtown is responsible for organizing and recording data across various operational systems within the company. This role is crucial for maintaining data integrity as Midtown builds a robust data strategy. The Data Coordinator will collaborate with teams in clubs, IT, and Finance departments to ensure accurate data collection and management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform collection, interpretation, and recording of data in accordance with company's guidelines and standards.
  • Perform data validation and storage of various project documents.
  • Record all data using the systems associated with club business areas (member management, program management, food & beverage, pro shop, and spa).
  • Provide data management updates in meetings as required.
  • Analyze and audit data for quality improvement purposes.
  • Work directly with fellow associates within the Finance and IT corporate departments, and clubs.
  • Make recommendations for improvements or changes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data processes and strategy.
  • Manage ongoing projects with the ability to pivot and reprioritize as system, club, and member needs dictate.
  • Occasionally need to work outside normal business hours to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience working with data administration, data coordination, or data handling.
  • An equivalent bachelor's degree in business, accounting, data, or IT is preferred but not required.
  • Possesses at least two years of member management, F&B, or retail software experience (CSI Spectrum, Club Automation, Silverware, or Maestro knowledge is a plus, but not required).
  • Understands basic accounting principles.
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to quickly grasp software functionality while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Possesses intermediate level experience with the usage of desktop applications including spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.
  • Has exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Has outstanding analytical and organizational skills.
  • Is highly self-motivated and works well individually, and with fellow associates.
