About the position
The Data Developer for Business Integrity Reporting & Analytics at Meta Platforms, Inc. is responsible for leveraging quantitative skills and qualitative insights to inform and influence strategies for Global Operations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to analyze data, build data infrastructure, and create analytical tools that optimize operational expenditures and enhance community and business impact.
Responsibilities
- Apply quantitative skills and incorporate qualitative insights to inform and influence strategy for Global Operations.
- Partner with Operations, Data Science, Data Engineering, Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.
- Analyze data, conduct research and synthesize feedback into plans, processes and playbooks.
- Build data infrastructure, visualization, and self-serve analytical tools to drive demand forecasting, scenario planning, and prioritization.
- Drive broad adoption and alignment of the team's initiatives through strong cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Operations Research, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a data science-related occupation.
- Experience querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL and at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, or Perl).
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- Experience gathering business requirements and defining metrics across varied stakeholders for data reporting.
- Experience designing and building reporting solutions, data pipeline architecture, and reusable data models.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to varied audiences.
- Ability to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.
