About the position

The position involves collaborating with the Enterprise Engineer to manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The role focuses on cleaning and processing raw data, maintaining relational databases, conducting exploratory analysis, and generating actionable insights through visualizations and dashboards. Additionally, the candidate will develop automation workflows, document processes, and support cross-functional teams in their data needs while staying updated on emerging trends in data management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Engineer to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources.
  • Clean and process raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement data validation checks to identify and rectify anomalies.
  • Assist in designing and maintaining relational databases to efficiently store and organize structured data.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis and generate actionable insights for the development of interactive visualizations and dashboards.
  • Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline data processing tasks and facilitate efficient data ingestion and transformation.
  • Document data processing workflows and database structures for future reference.
  • Assist in generating reports summarizing key findings and insights.
  • Collaborate with the Data Operations team to implement validation checks and ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous testing.
  • Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies in data management and analytics and conduct research to explore new tools and techniques.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and support their analytical requirements and contribute to collaborative projects.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and mentorship opportunities to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge and seek feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an accredited College/University.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) with a solid grasp of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient with programming languages such as Python, SQL or R.
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts and experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or matplotlib.
