About the position

The Data Encryption Analyst is responsible for guiding application teams on the use of secure encryption algorithms and ciphers to protect sensitive information both in transit and at rest. This role requires hands-on experience with TLS configuration and encryption key management, ensuring compliance and secure handling of cryptographic materials.

Responsibilities

• Collect required information and provide guidance on secure encryption algorithms and ciphers.
• Configure TLS, including obtaining certificates, installing them, and defining cipher suites.
• Manage encryption key management policies and monitor compliance.
• Analyze security logs and incidents related to encryption.
• Support application development teams in understanding and implementing data encryption requirements.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in data encryption algorithms, protocols, and key management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Understanding of data encryption in transit, at rest, and in use.
• Experience in analyzing security logs and incident data.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and other data sources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Cryptology, PKI, and TLS.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data manipulation.
• Familiarity with data privacy, classification, and compliance standards.
• Working knowledge of AWS services.
• Certifications in information security.
