About the position

The Data Engineer/Analyst position at Canvas involves providing advisory and assistance services to the Air Force at Holloman Air Force Base, NM. The role focuses on data analysis related to navigational warfare and GPS jamming missions or support for high-speed test tracks. The selected candidate will utilize various software and analytic methods to interpret test results, create technical reports, and ensure accurate documentation of test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of software and analytic methods to deduce test results.
• Create or code simple software tools to analyze test data.
• Draw conclusions based on test data and compile into a technical report.
• Establish reporting timelines for post-test data processing and publish written technical reports.
• Document test setup procedures performed by personnel, including equipment used, configuration settings, and environmental conditions.
• Understand and communicate technical information to stakeholders across various disciplines, both verbally and in writing.
• Assist in the creation and archival of accurate and timely test documentation including contract documents, test plans, safety plans, security plans, launch orders and mission reports.
• Communicate effectively with test team and customers to achieve proper data collection.

Requirements

• ABET accredited Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; ABET accredited Master's degree desired.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance; active clearances desired.
