About the position

Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta), formerly known as Facebook Inc., is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and implementing data warehousing activities that will serve as the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand their data needs and create sophisticated data models and visualizations that support various use cases across different products and domains. Your responsibilities will include defining and managing service level agreements (SLAs) for all data sets within your areas of ownership, as well as creating frameworks that enhance the efficacy of logging data. You will also be tasked with determining and implementing security models based on privacy requirements, ensuring that safeguards are followed, and addressing any data quality issues that arise.
