About the position
The Business Data Solutions Developer (Pricing) is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables the Pricing team to effectively leverage data. This role involves conducting software testing, providing user support, documenting existing software solutions, and collaborating with project leaders to develop new tools. The position requires close interaction with various teams to identify, design, implement, and maintain data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions for large cross-functional projects related to pricing or business improvement.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on designed solutions, key business processes, and data systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to implemented data solutions, working with end users and stakeholders.
- Lead the creation of technical documentation and training materials for end users and peers.
- Assist in other projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Business or IT degree preferred.
- Master's in Business Administration preferred.
- Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in developing analytical solutions and cross-functional business process solutions.
- Intermediate understanding of relational databases and data extraction tools (e.g., AWS Glue, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Intermediate understanding of business process management.
- Intermediate knowledge of workflow/business analysis/business management tools (e.g., Anaplan, SharePoint, Power Automate).
- Ability to exhibit working knowledge in various technical skills.
- Ability to lead and participate in project deliverables and mentor associates.
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to develop and execute training in data and analytical techniques.
