About the position

The Data Engineer position focuses on enabling new products through the design, modeling, and development of Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions. The role requires hands-on experience in coordinating and executing testing phases, as well as proficiency in SQL and programming languages to develop data pipeline solutions. This hybrid position is targeted at local candidates with relevant experience in Capital Markets Banking.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and develop Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
• Coordinate and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data warehouse solutions.
• Write SQL queries and develop stored procedures.
• Leverage SQL and programming languages (Python or similar) to develop data pipeline solutions.
• Ingest and exploit new and existing data sources using ETL tools.
• Contribute to the migration of an enterprise-wide Cloud Data Platform.
• Participate in the improvement of DevOps initiatives.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and programming, including stored procedures.
• Experience with data pipelines using programming languages like Python and ETL tools.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to resolve complex problems.
• Experience in Cloud Data Platform migration.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure Cloud platform.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools.
• Experience with Azure Data Bricks.
• Knowledge of columnar Data Warehouse solutions like Snowflake, RedShift, Vertica, or Greenplum.
