The Sr. Data Engineer/Data Architect will serve as the primary point of contact for data and database management within the company. This role is crucial for the development of a new microservices-based platform that supports green energy and renewables, enabling the company to scale effectively. Responsibilities

• Act as the primary data/database point person in the company.
• Design and implement data models and architectures for the new platform.
• Manage data integration technologies and ensure data movement and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data needs and requirements.
• Optimize database performance and scalability for the microservices architecture.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect.
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL and MySQL databases.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in JSON and Python programming.
• Expertise in data modeling and data integration technologies.
• Familiarity with data movement and data validation tooling.
• Understanding of multi-tenancy concepts is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the energy sector or with renewable energy technologies.
