About the position

The Data Engineer I position at INSPYR Solutions involves joining a central infrastructure team to support the development and integration of global data pipelines. The role focuses on managing key ETL deliverables and working with large datasets that exceed the capabilities of traditional relational databases. Candidates will have the opportunity to innovate and tackle complex problems while utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the build-out and integration of new global data pipelines.
• Take ownership of key ETL deliverables and drive their completion from end to end.
• Work with very large datasets beyond conventional relational database limits.
• Research and implement cutting-edge technologies for data engineering projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services such as S3, AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR, Kinesis, and FireHose.
• Strong scripting experience with Python.
• Strong SQL experience with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building end-to-end ETL pipelines.
• Experience with Airflow.
• Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases).
• Experience working with very large datasets in an enterprise environment.
