About the position

As a Data Engineer at PNC, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing data services that meet business objectives and user requirements. This position involves working with various ETL technologies, SQL/No-SQL databases, and DevOps practices to create scalable and maintainable data solutions. You will collaborate with users, developers, and business partners to define requirements and enhance data service infrastructure across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop data movement pipelines using ETL technologies such as Informatica and PySpark.
• Design and build data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms.
• Implement data migration and transformation activities to ensure data accuracy and security.
• Work closely with users, developers, and business partners to define data service requirements.
• Assist in creating technology roadmaps to advance features and products.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Fluency in SQL and No-SQL database technologies.
• Experience with ETL technologies, particularly Informatica and PySpark.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile development methodology.
• Experience in DevOps practices.
