About the position

The Data Engineer position is a long-term hybrid role based in McLean, VA, requiring local candidates to work three days in the office. The role focuses on developing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes, leveraging strong SQL and Python skills, and working collaboratively within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Utilize SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to create business and technical user stories in Jira.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and ETL processes.
• Experience with UNIX systems.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
