About The Position
Our client is currently seeking a Data Engineer II to join their team. This position is fully remote and offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $60.00 to $65.00 USD. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, which are essential for this role. The Data Engineer II will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and integration processes to ensure the efficient flow of data across various systems. This role requires a solid understanding of data integration tools and experience with SQL Server and stored procedures. In addition to SQL expertise, familiarity with data integration tools such as Matillion, SQL SSIS, or DBT is crucial. The candidate should also have basic knowledge of Python scripting, as well as experience with Snowflake database loading. Understanding AWS cloud file storage, particularly S3 buckets, is also beneficial. The Data Engineer II will be expected to call APIs for data retrieval and mapping results, which is considered a good-to-have skill. The position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience with SQL, including at least 2 years of experience with SQL Server and stored procedures, and 2 years of experience with data integration tools. Additionally, candidates should have at least 1 year of experience with Python scripting and Snowflake.
