This role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. The position emphasizes designing and building data infrastructure and systems for efficient data processing and analysis, while also enhancing leadership skills to motivate and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data infrastructure and systems for efficient data processing and analysis.
• Develop and implement data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
• Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
• Mentor and coach team members, leveraging their unique strengths and managing performance.
• Engage in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders, addressing conflicts or issues as they arise.
• Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematical Statistics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Experience with machine learning and data science workflows.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
