About the position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our dynamic Marketing Analytics Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that support our marketing analytics initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support marketing analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Work with cloud-based data platforms and tools to manage and process large datasets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with marketing analytics or working in a marketing environment.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Domo, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and experience working with data scientists.
