Responsibilities

  • Design, construct, test, and maintain robust, reliable, and scalable data pipeline and services.
  • Investigate and integrate up-and-coming big data technologies into existing requirements.
  • Install/update system and component fault-tolerant procedures.
  • Employ an array of technological tools to integrate with 3rd-party data systems.
  • Collaborate with team members (e.g., data administrators, data scientists) on the project's goals.

Requirements

  • Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of related work experience.
  • 1 year of experience in designing and modeling data warehouse to support data analytics, reporting, and data applications.
  • 1 year of experience in implementing data warehouse and ETL processes using Hive, Spark, Hadoop, or SQL Server to optimize data processing performance.
  • 1 year of programming experience using SQL, Python, and Java.
  • 1 year of experience in estimating SLAs for the data pipeline, and triaging and debugging data infrastructure issues.
  • 1 year of experience in building data services or applications using data query engines HBase, Elastic Search, ClickHouse, or SQL Server, and optimizing query performance.
