About the position

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Fusion, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and PL/SQL to join our team. This role focuses on designing and optimizing data pipelines, managing transaction logs, and ensuring seamless data integration in a high-volume retail environment. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in data engineering, particularly in cloud-based solutions and real-time data processing, while collaborating closely with business teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines focusing on real-time data processing and API integrations.
• Develop and maintain database scripts using PL/SQL for transaction logs and data retrieval.
• Handle transaction logs to ensure accurate and timely ETL for real-time processing.
• Leverage Oracle Fusion Cloud to build and manage cloud-based applications and workflows.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Continuously monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot data systems and integration points.
• Maintain clear documentation of data engineering processes and integration workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10-15 years in data engineering or related roles with a focus on cloud-based data solutions.
• At least 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud beyond Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Solid background in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for data integration.
• Extensive experience in PL/SQL programming for Oracle databases, focusing on data manipulation and transaction processing.
• Experience in a retail environment dealing with high-volume transaction data.
• Experience handling and analyzing transaction logs in real-time environments.
• Expertise in real-time data processing, including API integration and data extraction.
