About the position

The Data Engineer, Partner Experience role at Amazon focuses on enhancing the Partner Experience Business Intelligence (PXBI) core data infrastructure. This position involves implementing AWS services to build data pipelines, improve data accuracy, reduce latency, and ensure compliance with data regulations. The Data Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers and software development teams to create a new analytics product, while also maintaining and improving existing data infrastructures to support Prime Video partners.

Responsibilities

• Enhance PXBI core data infrastructure by implementing AWS services to build data pipelines.
• Improve data accuracy, reduce data latency, and increase data service stability.
• Ensure compliance with Amazon-wide data compliance regulations.
• Collaborate with Sr Data engineers and SDE teams to build the Slate analytics product.
• Design and implement a data lake to provide robust, scalable data infrastructure.
• Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices.
• Maintain existing data infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Python

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
