About the position

The Data Engineer position at QuBIT OPTIMA involves developing data infrastructure to optimize processes and support operational goals within a large-scale data engineering environment. The role requires analytical thinking and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions for Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data infrastructure to optimize process paths.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AFT, Finance, Process Engineering, and Program Management.
• Lead the implementation of large-scale projects to improve inbound operations.
• Analyze, validate, visualize, prototype, and deliver data solutions.
• Support operational leadership with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one modern scripting or programming language (Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS technologies (Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, IAM roles).
• Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases).
• 2+ years of experience in building/operating highly available, distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing.
