About the position

IMG is seeking a Data Engineer with a Secret Clearance or higher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and a strong drive to tackle complex data challenges. This role involves collaborating with a team of data engineers to design, develop, test, document, deploy, and manage data systems. The candidate will be responsible for creating effective data applications and ensuring that data systems meet the needs of our clients. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data modeling and data architecture. Proficiency in SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL is essential, along with expertise in the Python programming language. The role also demands experience with data integration and ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, Knime, or Apache NiFi, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools, including JIRA, is also required. Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in statistical, mathematical, and database Python packages like NumPy, SQLAlchemy, or Pandas.
