About the position

The Data Engineer position at ARKA Group L.P. involves supporting the development of AI/ML algorithms across various disciplines, including large language models and predictive analytics. The role is based in King of Prussia, PA, and offers opportunities for mentorship from experienced researchers and software developers. The position is open to candidates of all experience levels, emphasizing the importance of innovative problem-solving in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles large, complex sets of data to support AI/ML algorithm implementation
  • Identifies, designs, and implements internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
  • Builds required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources
  • Curate and maintain data that is stored in support of metrics and evaluation
  • Design, build, test, maintain, and automate data collection/pipelines
  • Develop Dashboards for Data Analytics
  • Implement Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
  • Using Agile methodologies to develop software.

Requirements

  • Current Top Secret SCI clearance with CI poly
  • B.S. in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer/Scientist
  • Experience developing data pipelines and normalizing data, using AWS cloud services

Nice-to-haves

  • M.S. or PhD in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with Gitlab, DevSecOps utilizing test-driven development, Containers (Docker, Docker Compose)
