About the position

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the integration and interoperability of mission and intelligence data, particularly in peace and crisis situations. This role involves developing and maintaining GIS databases and large-scale data processing systems to support the community's needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integration and interoperability of mission/intelligence data for community consumption in peace and crisis situations.
• Develop, construct, test, and maintain GIS databases and large-scale data processing systems.
• Clean, prepare, and transform AP LOB data to support the building of geospatial data pipelines.
• Create curated views of content for IC consumption.
• Apply knowledge of scripting tools, programming languages, standards, and software packages to build data pipelines.
• Publish geospatial content in the form of data services from a GIS system.
• Support the use and development of cloud computing systems and perform automated analytics.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience in developing and maintaining GIS databases.
• Proficiency in large-scale data processing systems.
• Knowledge of scripting tools and programming languages.
• Experience in building data pipelines for geospatial data.
