Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, operationalize, and maintain complex data applications at enterprise scale.
  • Retrieve, parse, and process structured and unstructured data.
  • Implement data validation, cleansing, and enrichment techniques to enhance data accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop scripts and programs to convert various types of data into usable formats.
  • Deploy and develop data pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.
  • Manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable data platforms for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data management, or ETL tasks, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience designing, developing, operationalizing, or maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale.
  • Experience retrieving, parsing, or processing structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with data validation, cleansing, or enrichment techniques.
  • Experience with data storage technologies and databases.
  • Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats.
  • Top Secret clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks and AWS.
  • Experience building scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, MySQL, or Snowflake.
  • Experience with Apache Spark or AWS Glue.
  • Knowledge of ETL best practices, data integration techniques, and data quality management.
  • Master's degree.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
