Responsibilities
- Lead large scale data analysis projects.
- Design and deliver on-premises and cloud-based applications.
- Develop data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software.
- Facilitate bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics and visualization.
- Establish applications that produce actionable intelligence from structured and semi-structured data.
- Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in data engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
- Experience with maintaining the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, particularly Hbase, MapReduce, and Spark.
- Experience with ETL processes using Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Apache Airflow.
- Experience with AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EMR, KMS, SQS, SNS, and Systems Manager.
- Experience in supporting, maintaining, and migrating JavaFX applications to modern cloud-native solutions.
