As part of our Data Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in constructing pipelines that contextualize and provide easy access to data across the enterprise. This position is designed for a Data Engineer who is eager to grow and transform our analytics landscape. You will leverage your analytical skills and inquisitive nature to translate data stories through various programming techniques. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and deploying data solutions that capture, explore, transform, and utilize data to support Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and business intelligence/insights. In this role, you will be tasked with building and operationalizing complex data solutions, correcting problems, applying transformations, and recommending data cleansing and quality solutions. You will perform analysis of complex data sources to determine their value and recommend data to include in analytical processes. Core data management competencies such as data governance, data security, and data quality will be essential in your work. Collaboration within and across teams will be crucial to support delivery and educate end users on complex data products and the analytic environment. You will also be responsible for performing data and system analysis, assessing and resolving complex defects and incidents, and testing data movement, transformation code, and data components. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent experience, with at least eight years of related experience. Proficiency in tools, techniques, and manipulation, including cloud platforms and programming languages, is required. You should have a strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to lead team members while fostering a safe learning environment. Experience with ETL tools, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, source code management tools, CI/CD pipelines, process orchestration tools, infrastructure as code, Databricks, and Python/Pyspark is essential.
