About the position
The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team to ensure seamless access to actionable and well-governed data across all domains. The position requires assembling complex datasets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements for key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture aligned with business needs.
- Sync data between various systems to ensure consistency and integrity.
- Collaborate closely with data science teams and business analysts to refine data requirements.
- Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, facilitating product development by removing roadblocks.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements for scalability and automation.
- Assist stakeholders with data-related technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Information Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Epic Clarity Data Model Certification expected within 1 year of hire date.
- Python certification using internal training tools within 2 years of hire date.
- Equivalent relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
