As a Data Engineer, you will be a member of PNC's Technology organization within the ACFR Technology group. You will be based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or Cleveland, OH. Your responsibilities include performing critical technical activities as a Data Engineer to build and support a suite of business solutions. You will be responsible for performing application development as a member of a scrum crew. This involves developing a deep understanding of the application functionality, including the various key components, what they do, and how they interact with each other. You will be one of the technology members on the wing to help in building business solutions. Your role will require you to understand user stories, estimate, and implement them while looking for opportunities to automate and innovate. You will develop deep expertise in the PNC agile process and toolsets, be involved with complex software releases, and ensure successful deployments. Additionally, you will work closely with other scrum teams and PNC technical teams, developing, supporting, and implementing data solutions for multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements. This includes leveraging your technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build, and maintain technology solutions. You will also be responsible for data requirement analysis and the data preparation process development for targeted data solutions, designing and building data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms according to the workflow, and ensuring the scalability, availability, and maintainability of data solutions through effective data migration and transformation processes.
