About the position
The Senior Data Engineer will provide cloud support for the IEN enterprise, focusing on platforms such as Office365 and Power Platform (including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate). This role involves data visualization, performance metrics development, and relationship management, ensuring effective communication and project management within a federal contracting environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides expertise and analysis in data visualization using Microsoft Power BI.
- Develops project and program performance metrics and success criteria.
- Conducts after action data assessments and creates deliverables for executive staff.
- Develops and enhances decision-making dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI/Power Apps/Power Platform.
- Works with organizational data and project teams to standardize data analysis and management strategies.
- Presents deliverables and visualizations to non-technical audiences.
- Develops and implements data strategies for daily and weekly reports.
- Conducts ad hoc analysis and responds to client requests.
- Supports research projects, capability development efforts, and innovation efforts.
- Supports project management, logistics, and communication activities.
- Evaluates user experiences for web and online applications, including Microsoft products.
- Designs and develops graphic elements to enhance user experience.
Requirements
- Master's degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience, or Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of relevant work experience.
- Secret Clearance Required.
- Experience interacting with Army stakeholders supporting similar scope and scale of services is preferred.
- Experience working within a mature services-based capability for enterprise-level customers is preferred.
