About the position

The Data Engineer position is focused on managing and optimizing data processes and systems. The Data Engineer will be responsible for data modeling, migration, and ensuring efficient data workflows using various technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize data processes and systems.
• Utilize big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka for data processing.
• Implement data modeling and migration protocols.
• Work with cloud computing platforms like Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
• Develop and maintain workflows using Airflow.
• Analyze and solve complex data-related problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role in data management.
• Proficiency in big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, PySpark, Kafka, Hive, NoSql databases.
• Strong programming skills in Scala and Python.
• Experience with workflow management platforms like Airflow.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems.
