The Data Engineer position is focused on supporting ongoing projects within a technology services client, specifically in the Financial or Banking industry. The role requires expertise in Python programming and Microsoft Azure services to design and implement efficient ETL workflows, ensuring data quality and compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Design scalable and flexible data pipelines with a focus on performance optimization.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to maintain data integrity.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in the Financial or Banking industry.
• Strong experience in Python programming, particularly in ETL processes and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, and Azure Virtual Machines.
• Ability to design and implement efficient ETL workflows.
• Understanding of data governance principles and data quality management.
