About the position

As a Data Engineer - Web Analytics within Growth Engineering, you will be responsible for managing analytics data collection for Rocket's digital products and creating A/B Test experiments aimed at enhancing user engagement and conversion rates. This role empowers you to make a significant impact while developing your career in a supportive environment that values innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management and S&A teams to create specifications for analytics tracking.
  • Collaborate with multiple technology streams to optimize and integrate analytics data collection.
  • Automate testing of analytics tracking in collaboration with Engineers.
  • Create and configure new events in Adobe Launch and Adobe Analytics.
  • Ensure the analytics strategy aligns with RKT strategies.
  • Create Adobe dashboard reports.
  • Continuously seek improvements in the analytics data collection process.
  • Monitor analytics for anomalies in the data.
  • Implement server-side and client-side integrations using tag manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web development.
  • 4+ years of experience with tag management systems (Adobe Launch).
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Web SDK.
  • Solid understanding of APIs.
  • Experience in pixel implementation.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies like React and Angular.
  • Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting applications.
  • Proficient in Adobe Analytics or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience in creating reporting dashboards and metrics/segment creation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of web page speed optimization.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 implementation.
  • Experience with Amplitude and segmentation tools.
  • Experience integrating analytics tracking into native mobile apps (iOS and Android).
  • Knowledge of Typescript, NextJS, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with A/B Testing and experimentation tools (Adobe Target).
  • Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments.
  • Experience in an Agile working environment.
