About the position

As a Data Engineer - Web Analytics within Growth Engineering, you will be responsible for handling analytics data collection for Rocket's digital products and creating A/B Test experiments aimed at enhancing user engagement and conversion rates. This role empowers you to make a significant impact while developing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management and S&A teams to create specs for analytics tracking.
  • Collaborate with multiple technology streams to optimize and integrate analytics data collection.
  • Work with Engineers to automate testing of analytics tracking.
  • Create and configure new events in Adobe Launch and Adobe Analytics.
  • Ensure the analytics strategy aligns with RKT strategies.
  • Create Adobe dashboard reports.
  • Continuously seek improvements in the analytics data collection process.
  • Monitor analytics for anomalies in the data.
  • Implement server-side and client-side integrations using tag manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web development
  • 4+ years of experience with tag management systems (Adobe Launch)
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Web SDK
  • Solid understanding of API
  • Experience in Pixel implementation
  • Experience in modern front-end technologies like React, Angular
  • Expertise in debugging and troubleshooting applications
  • Proficient in Adobe Analytics or any analytical tool
  • Experience in creating reporting dashboards
  • Experience in metrics and segment creation
  • Experience in Reporting Suite administration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledgeable in web page speed optimization
  • Knowledgeable in Google Analytics 4 implementation
  • Knowledge in Amplitude and segmentation tools
  • Experience integrating analytics tracking to native mobile apps (iOS and Android)
  • Experience with Typescript, NextJS, GraphQL
  • Experience in A/B Testing and experimentation tools (Adobe Target)
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and automated deployments
  • Experience in an Agile working environment.
  • Experience with server-side and client-side integrations for Pixels.
