About the position
The Data Engineer position focuses on the development and integration of data solutions using Snowflake and Talend. The role involves designing and developing tables within Snowflake, creating Talend jobs to source data, and ensuring efficient data extraction and loading processes. The engineer will also be responsible for code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop tables within Snowflake.
- Create Talend jobs to source data from Snowflake and produce flat files.
- Build Talend jobs with multiple sub-flows for complex data extraction.
- Load data into Snowflake tables.
- Conduct code reviews and unit testing.
- Load historical data based on initial builds.
- Perform integration testing with business needs involved.
- Provide feedback on code changes and participate in the code testing process.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Snowflake.
- Proficient in Talend for ETL processes.
- Experience in designing and developing data tables in Snowflake.
- Ability to build complex Talend jobs with multiple sub-flows.
- Strong ETL skills.
