About The Position
Maxar is seeking a Senior Data Engineer or Senior Staff Data Engineer to join our Data Intelligence team. This role is pivotal in our mission to deliver high-quality analytics solutions. The position is hybrid, requiring several days a week on-site in Westminster, CO or Longmont, CO. The Data Intelligence team is responsible for maintaining a variety of infrastructure, services, and analytics deliverables. Recently, we have developed and deployed a new full-stack data lake house environment designed to enable more teams at Maxar to build analytics solutions. Your primary focus will be to learn our existing solutions, assist in migrating them to the data lake house, and develop best practices for data pipelines while helping other departments onboard their data to this new environment. Flexibility and adaptability are essential as the Data Intelligence team undergoes rapid changes.
