About The Position
Signature Federal Systems is seeking a Data Engineer in Herndon, VA. The Data Engineer is responsible for making data available, accessible, and secure to all stakeholders. As a Data Engineer on our team, you will design, build, and optimize systems for data collection, storage, access, and analytics at enterprise scale. This role is critical in ensuring that data flows seamlessly from various sources to analytics tools, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. In this position, you will create robust and resilient data pipelines that connect diverse data sources to analytics tools. You will work closely with various analysts to craft requirements, ensuring that the data architecture aligns with business needs. This includes enumerating the necessary datasets and designing the data model and schemas to support those requirements. Additionally, you will provide platform support, including problem-solving and debugging for production issues, ensuring that data systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will interact with and collaborate across the services and communities involved in multi-domain Cyber Defense. Your contributions will help achieve breakthrough improvements in capabilities, making a significant impact on the organization's data strategy and overall mission.
