About the position

The Data Engineer role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to ensure efficient and secure data transmission while optimizing data workflows in a cloud environment. This position involves working with various data sources and stakeholders to implement ETL processes that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architectures and data transmission processes.
• Document and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
• Ensure data quality measures are in place for data transmission.
• Develop ETL processes to extract and transform data from various sources.
• Collaborate with tech-to-tech data providers and internal governance partners.

Requirements

• Strong background in cloud data solutions and data transmission protocols.
• Proficient in ETL processes and data workflows.
• Strong understanding of data transmission protocols such as HTTP, FTP, and SFTP.
• Proficient in Java programming language.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and data science workflows.
