About the position

The Data Engineer role at Capgemini involves designing, developing, and implementing modifications and enhancements for Agency and Data Solutions applications. The position requires analyzing complex system requirements and existing business processes, as well as developing CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will work with ETL and Cloud technologies, utilizing various tools and programming languages to build applications that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement modifications and enhancements for Agency and Data Solutions applications.
  • Analyze and validate complex system requirements and existing business processes and information systems.
  • Develop continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in an Agile methodology environment.
  • Build, develop, and implement applications based on ETL and Cloud technologies, including ETL development and AWS Development.
  • Utilize technologies such as COBOL, JCL, Stored Procedures, SQL, Apigee, Concourse, Rancher, Harness, New Relic, and Apache Kafka.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven plus years of experience with applying the ETL process to datasets using ETL Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality.
  • Five plus years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Concourse, Jenkins, Artifactory, Urban ESP, UAC, and Autosys.
  • Three years of experience developing applications in Cloud Native Platforms using Nitro, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with event streaming technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
