About the position

DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in the Raleigh, NC area. This hybrid position involves analyzing, mapping, building, testing, and maintaining database pipeline architectures to support data conversion efforts as the legacy system migrates to Salesforce. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, particularly for the Child Welfare program.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, map, build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures using Oracle and DB2 for Data Conversion efforts.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to support data extraction, transformation, and loading into Salesforce.
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and databases to support data conversion needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality, completeness, integrity, and availability.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with SMEs to execute data conversion objectives that transform, mask, and load data into Salesforce objects.
• Create and maintain table schemas and new data validation methods to ensure data accuracy and cleanliness.

Requirements

• 5 Years - Experience with Oracle
• 5 Years - Experience with PL/SQL
• 7 Years - Experience with SQL
• 5 Years - Experience with data migrations from legacy systems
• 1 Year - Experience with data cleansing

• 1 Year - Experience with DB2
• 1 Year - Experience with ETL processes involving Salesforce
• 1 Year - Experience with Talend
