About the position

The AWS Data Engineer role at Pronix Inc. is a long-term contract position based in Malvern, PA, requiring a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days remote. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with AWS services and strong programming skills in PySpark and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS services such as Lambda, EMR, Glue, and Step Functions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement data solutions using CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Python programming languages.
• Strong SQL programming skills.
