About the position

The Data Engineer at CVS Health is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports the organization's data-related initiatives. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable data processing, storage, and retrieval. The Data Engineer will develop scalable data pipelines, optimize data workflows, and ensure data quality and integrity, contributing to the mission of simplifying data management for consumers.

Responsibilities

• Designs scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Develops data pipelines that enable efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
• Implements data validation and quality checks to identify and address data anomalies or errors.
• Documents data engineering processes, workflows, and systems for reference and knowledge-sharing purposes.

Requirements

• 2+ years software development experience
• 24x7 on-call participation approximately every 6 weeks.
