About the position

Centrifi, a division of Site Impact, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our innovative team in Coral Springs, FL. This hybrid position requires you to work in the office three days a week, where you will be part of a dynamic environment that combines proprietary technology, data-driven business intelligence, and sophisticated digital marketing. Our platform enables large media companies and agencies to scale their focused ad sales effortlessly, merging in-market audience data with analytics from websites and digital media. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, constructing, and sustaining robust data pipelines that efficiently collect, process, and transform data from diverse sources into usable formats. You will also be responsible for crafting and managing data models to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across our systems. In this role, you will develop and refine ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate the seamless movement and transformation of data. You will work on integrating data from various systems and sources, ensuring that data quality and reliability are upheld. Additionally, you will manage and optimize our data warehousing solutions, which are critical for supporting business reporting and analytics. Implementing rigorous data quality checks and ensuring compliance with data governance policies will be part of your responsibilities. You will also take charge of optimizing database and query performance to ensure speedy and efficient data retrieval. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet our evolving business needs. Responsibilities

  • Maintaining meticulous documentation of data pipelines, processes, and data dictionaries.
  • Collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing data-related issues through monitoring solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
  • In-depth knowledge of data integration tools and ETL processes.
  • Strong grasp of database systems (both SQL and NoSQL) and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Power BI is a plus.
