About the position

The Finance Data Analyst position is a full-time role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure within the Business Intelligence team. The role emphasizes ensuring reliable and efficient data flow for analysis and decision-making, with a strong emphasis on data systems and storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure for the Business Intelligence team.
• Ensure reliable and efficient data flow and accessibility for analysis and decision-making.
• Implement and maintain complex data systems.
• Work with various types of data storage, including SQL Server and/or Oracle.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficient in coding with Python, Power BI, ETL, and AWS or Azure Cloud.
• Proven experience in a similar role as a Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (SQL Server and/or Oracle).
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data quality, metadata management, and performance tuning.
• Experience with dimensional models and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Client Cloud).

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Bash scripting and Python (including common data libraries).
• Familiarity with VSCode, version control, and DevOps concepts.
