About the position

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced TS/SCI with Polygraph Data Engineer with expertise in Defensive Cyber Operations and Sensors Data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and managing systems that seamlessly transfer data between platforms, ensuring the integrity and security of information across various systems. This Data Engineer will have extensive experience building and managing dashboards, with a focus on feeding and integrating data. This role requires a deep understanding of defense cyber operation strategies, with emphasis on integrating and analyzing data from Sensors to support real-time decision-making. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing systems to efficiently transfer data from various sensors and platforms to centralized databases or other systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security. You will develop and implement advanced analytical models to detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats, utilizing sensor data to enhance the situational awareness and defensive capabilities of cyber operations. Collaboration with cybersecurity and defense teams will be essential to design and implement strategies that support defensive cyber operations, focusing on leveraging data analytics to strengthen the overall cybersecurity posture. You will analyze and interpret data from a wide range of sensors to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential security threats. This includes developing algorithms to process and visualize sensor data in a meaningful way for decision-makers, designing, developing, and managing dashboards to support Defensive Cyber Operations, and creating and managing automated data pipelines that facilitate the seamless flow of data between different systems. Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of these systems is crucial, as is implementing data management best practices, including data governance, metadata management, and data quality assurance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, system engineers, and defense strategists, to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions that support mission objectives.
