About the position

The Data Engineer will support the Technology Business Services team at Fisher Investments, focusing on building and maintaining the data warehouse for the Private Client Group business. This role involves developing scalable data solutions, managing data extraction and transformation processes, and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective data visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, customize, and manage integration tools and databases.
• Design, build, and deploy data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from various sources.
• Develop and deploy structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data storage models.
• Provide operational support and incident management for data pipelines and flows.
• Author and maintain accurate documentation for processes and technical designs.

Requirements

• 10 years' experience developing data-related solutions and software.
• Experience with ETL and ELT tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Kafka, or Spark.
• Proficiency in database technologies like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages including C#, Java, Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure standards and tools.
