About the position

As an Azure Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage data solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. This role requires a strong background in SQL and experience with OLTP database solutions, particularly using Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity while developing robust data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data integration projects.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
• Write complex stored procedures to support data transformation and implement business validation logic.
• Utilize Databricks for advanced data processing and analysis.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy across all systems.
• Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of OLTP systems using SQL Server.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data integration and database development.
• Proficiency in Core SQL and Azure SQL.
• Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex stored procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Python, Synapse, ADLS/ADF, DAX, Cubes, and Power BI.
• Previous experience working with Microsoft candidates.
