About the position

Qualis LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to support and provide expertise within the National Capital Region, with the option for remote work. The role focuses on architecting data systems, building ETL pipelines, and conducting analytical exploration of data, while also leading the design and maintenance of Tableau dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Architect data systems.
• Build ETL pipelines.
• Perform data ingestion.
• Conduct analytical exploration and examination of data.
• Lead the assessment, design, build, and maintenance of Tableau dashboards.

Requirements

• Current Secret or TS DoD Security Clearance.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer.
• Experience with data architecture and data modeling.
• Knowledge of Data ETL tools.
• Experience in a professional environment using Tableau and Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation logic, and querying data.
• Ability to quickly learn technical concepts.
• Ability to communicate with multiple functional groups.
• Must be a US Citizen.
