About the position

We are looking for an experienced Product/Program Manager to join our Data Engineering team. Data is the lifeblood of Goldman Sachs and our data products and services are critical in delivering commercial success for the firm. You will build and maintain close relationships with our users, research, design and engineering teams and work on solutions for internal, external and new business opportunities. As a Data Product Manager, you will closely partner with businesses, fully understand their business processes front to back, and work together with them to uplift their data strategy and processes. Our (fully open-sourced) Legend data platform is key to Goldman Sachs' data strategy and your role as Product Manager is to drive adoption by unlocking new workflows and business use cases on our data platform. Apply your product knowledge to boost metrics-driven insight generation, formulate and drive execution plans to build and improve features, and streamline the user journeys for our 30k+ monthly active users. Be part of Goldman Sachs' data transformation by strategically building new data products and services while partnering with all divisions in the firm. Our #1 business principle is "Our clients' interests always come first. Our experience shows that if we serve our clients well, our own success will follow". Every customer is given maximum attention to understand their needs. We adopt the most appropriate approach to drive the business of the customer or institution towards the desired growth. We apply the same approach to the way we build products and deliver customer-centric, world class products through the collaborative work with our business clients. Our team of product managers work closely with creatives and researchers through our design teams and are fortunate to have many experienced engineers to help architect and develop technologies. We are responsible for guiding products throughout all stages of the product's lifecycle, including research, pitching, scoping, delivering, promoting, and tailoring solutions to our clients. We are looking for an experienced product manager familiar with product development and management who has a proven track record in leading the delivery of impactful platforms from inception to completion. We are looking for a talented and passionate Product Manager who thrives in an extremely entrepreneurial, fast paced environment. This is a high visibility role, backed by some of the senior-most leaders of the firm, and as such, will require creativity and drive to deliver on an ambitious roadmap.
