About the position

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to develop and solve complex software problems at the architectural level.
• Scope projects and evaluate releases to ensure they meet business needs.
• Determine essential features and manage trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs.
• Drive resolution to data architecture deficiencies and mitigate long-term risks.
• Effectively hire, manage performance, coach, and promote team members.
• Evangelize company values and foster a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of data engineering or data warehouse development experience.
• At least 3+ years in management roles preferred.
• Experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent people management, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Google Big Query platforms.
