About the position

The Data Engineering Manager will lead a team of data engineers in designing and implementing data solutions that support the organization's analytics and reporting needs. This role requires a hands-on approach to management, ensuring that the team effectively utilizes cloud technologies and big data tools to handle large datasets and complex reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of data engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Design and implement data architecture and pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Oversee the development of complex SQL queries and DAX for reporting purposes.
• Ensure best practices in data management and engineering are followed by the team.
• Monitor and optimize data processing workflows for performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and DAX.
• Experience with large datasets and complex reporting.
• Strong development skills in Python, PySpark, and Spark.
• Hands-on management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
